What You'll See

The salt marsh teems with wildlife, especially birds such as Snowy Egrets, Great Blue Herons, Mute Swans, Osprey, Hawks, Eider Ducks, Mergansers, Scoters, Terns, and Shore Birds such as Piping and Semipalmated Plovers, Oyster Catchers, Greater and Lesser Yellow Legs, and many more. We may even see deer, coyote, fox, raccoon or possum.

“Great Marsh Kayak was the best choice of our vacation for the kids, my husband and I. The kids loved the tour and we we’re amazed at the information shared by Bob and Richard. We laughed and learned the whole time. See you next year guys!” Evelyn from Michigan

When you arrive at the office we will process your payment: We prefer cash or check payments, but if necessary we can take Visa or M/C.

Next, we meet and learn about the adventure ahead, the twists and turns of the marsh, the wildlife and the general setting of the day. All these details of your Cape Cod kayak tour will be given by our well trained guides and naturalists.

A brief safety and paddling lesson will be necessary before we hit the water. During the trip we will be there to assist you on better technique and paddling ease.

Most importantly we want your day to be filled with the simple joy of kayaking. We can stop for a swim, a walk, slow down and catch some rays, the whole time drinking in the magic that is Cape Cod.
